"I watch it for the plot" XP A na serio to po równo story i characters, bo zauważyłam na przykład, że tak jak Kiznaiver ma zrytą fabułę, tak niektóre z postaci są na tyle fajnie zrobione, że oglądam to dalej głównie dla nich XD
My first thought was story, but thinking about it, I think it's characters that carry it for me. Interesting characters can handle themselves even without a plot at all. But a great story with dislikeable / unrealistic characters is kind of ruined by them. There's lots of stuff with interesting and unique premises, but with characters too bland to keep the excitement going.
Characters, you can have the most amazing plot concept in the world but if your characters are bland and cannot support it that plot it's pointless. Not to mention you have to make them worth investing time to and feel empathy for them 8'D
Characters, definitely. If the story is cool, that's great, but I cannot get into it if the characters are utterly unlikeable or they don't get some awesome character development. Even if it's a "nothing really happens" kinda plot, I will still enjoy it if I like the characters enough. If the plot is super cliche, it can still go much farther than others of its kind if the characters are done well enough.
This a tough one for me. The title or cover art is what draws me in then if the characters are interesting and it look "cool" then I continue. Unfortunately I have this problem where I want to know how it ends so even if the media slowly goes bad I can't just simply stop.
Artstyle or the story is what will first draw me into a series, but if the characters are horrendously written I wont carry on watching it XD Even if the plots a bit... eh... Ill still watch / read if I liek the characters c:
When I decide which series to watch it usually looks like "Hm.. The story sounds kinda stupid. But well, it's pretty, let's give it a try". And if I like at least one character then that's it. I'm gonna watch the whole thing.
